Recently in Email Subscriptions Category
For those of you who have access to category subscription boxes please make note of the new way to save your entries to make the category subscription emails send out.
We are looking for a way around this but follow these instructions in the meantime.
Here is the work around for your category subscriptions to work properly.
You need to save your entry as unpublished and then save it as published. The save as published is what triggers the category subscription email.
The system archiving is different with the Movable Type 4 and the category archive is not created until after it is saved once. So basically you need to save each entry twice.
The correct people are aware of this problem and have been working on it. This is not a problem with the blog system rather a problem with the outgoing mail server.
Once again, sorry for the problem.
We are working at upgrading the system to a new server. We hope to see vast improvals to the blog system once it is moved over!

Email notifications have been working for all SCS email account but not for any external accounts (IE, shaw, sasktel, hotmail, etc.)
The problem seems to be fixed. If you find that someone is still not receiving updates, please contact Cyber School A.S.A.P.
