We are currently experiencing a small glitch having to do with uploading files to your blogs.
If you try to upload a file that is already on your blog and you get an error, there are 2 things you can do;
#1 change your file name
#2 wait for a day or so until I post on this blog that it has been fixed.

Error Update

Last week there was an upgrade on one of the servers downtown that caused some issues with the blog system. We believe we have remedied most of the issues. However, if you have an error that includes the words "Apture Script" when you try to post an entry please email cyber@scs.sk.ca so that we can do the quick fix for you. Sorry for the inconvenience, thanks for your patience!!

Can't Find your Comments??

IF you are having trouble finding comments left on your blog, log in to your blog. Click Manage and then comments.

Click on Spam Comments as seen in the image below. All of your comments should be there.

Removing Subscribers

If you want to remove people who have subscribed to your blog log in and click Manage and then Subscriptions.

Click in the boxes beside the names of those you would like to delete and then press Delete.

Unfortunately I have had to disable the Style option for your blogs. If you have ever changed or tried to change your blog style you will notice that the option under the Design Tab is now gone. This is not permanent and I hope to have it up and running in the very near future.

How many visitors have you had?

If you want to know how many visitors you have had to your site click on the icon that looks like a house to the left of the CREATE menu.

Click on Views or Visitors as you see in the image below. You can track by day or month(s).

Also note that tracking will start as of Today (Feb 4, 2009).

Breadcrumbs

We've installed a new feature that shows you where you are in your blog.

This is called breadcrumbs. You will notice that it is always under the main tool bar. An example of this can be seem in the image below. The breadcrumbs are in the red rectangle. You can click on the breadcrumbs at any time to take you to another page.

Photo Galleries

IF you would like to add thumbnail photo galleries to entries in your blog Click "Write Entry" and in the toolbar click on the new icon in the toolbar. You will see the new icon in the image below. It has a red box around it.

The photo gallery will create thumbnail images for you. You must upload files to your ASSET area before you try and add images to a photo gallery entry.

News Styles and Themes for your blog

We've installed a new set up templates styles for your blog. THIS IS ONLY FOR NEW STYLE BLOGS. If your blog is green and yellow you have an old blog and it will not work for you. To change your color/theme/style go to Design/Styles/Click on Code Monkey Ramblings. Click on the different options that come up to preview the style.
