We are excited to be taking on this tournament that is steeped in tradition! Bethlehem Catholic High School and Tommy Douglas High School are looking forward to the challenge of providing a first class basketball tournament to such a large number of teams.
We would like to welcome you to the Bowlt Classic. The tournament organizing committee appreciates that Mount Royal and Evan Hardy Collegiate have continued to help host games for the tournament. Without the help of the students, teachers, and caretaking staff at Bethlehem, Tommy Douglas, Mount Royal and Evan Hardy, we would not be able to host a tournament of this magnitude. We also want to thank The University of Saskatchewan Huskies Basketball programs for their continued support of our tournament.
Teams representing various categories in the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association will be competing. With this special opportunity of competition, we hope that the Bowlt Classic will help the players and coaches build for the upcoming 2009-2010 season.
It is the tournament committee's goal to provide a first-class tournament, where friendly competition and sportsmanship will continue to exemplify the spirit of the host schools.
We would also like to thank the many corporate sponsors that continue their involvement with the tournament each year. These sponsors have made generous contributions to the tournament, which has made this an exciting event. We hope you will give your patronage to these businesses.
The Bowlt Classic Organizing Committee would like to wish all the coaches and players good luck during this year's tournament. We would like to extend our best wishes to every team for a successful season. We hope that the "Bowlt Classic" will be the beginning of the Road to Hoopla.
