Graduation Banquet Orders
Reminder to grade 12 students that banquet ticket orders are now being accepted. Tickets are limited to 8 tickets per graduate, this includes the graduate. If you wish to sit next to a specific person(s) your orders must be submitted together.
Grade 12 Aftergrad
Tickets for aftergrad will go on sale during lunch hour, the week of May 15,16, 17 as well as May 22,23, 24. All students wanting to purchase tickets will need to bring all completed forms along with full payment.
Grade 12 Fashion Show
Please get your group mom settled and in contact with Mrs. Karwacki ASAP so you can arrange fittings!
Youth Study Group
Youth Study Group will be held today in room 334 from 3:15-5:30. Tutorial support is offered to all students who wish to attend. Mr. Didjusto will lead this group.

Grade 12 Jostens Rings
Jostens will be here today from 10:45-1:15 by the cafeteria hallway for you to check out new designs and samples of grad rings you can order.
Track and Field
Today's additional practice for sprints and relay members WILL happen (indoors). Please be changed and read to go for 3:30pm and we will meet in the big gym!
Any student who is in need of volunteer service hours we could use some help at the mini meets and city championships for Track and Field. Come see Mrs. Epple in the gym if you are interested!!!
Mini Meet #1 schedule can be picked up, they are located on Mr. Byblow's classroom door (Rm. 363). You will need this to find out when you are to be ready for your events this Thursday!

Another Opportunity to Donate
Those wonderful people who donated blood during our clinic in March have another opportunity to donate. There will be 2 "Life Buses" coming to Holy Cross after school on May 17th and May 24th to transport eligible donors to and from the CBS clinic downtown. Please note: if you received a Mumps/Measles/Rubella vaccination in the past 3 months you are not eligible to donate yet.
Assignment Saving Lives Bursary Program
Gr.12--Do you know 20 people? Do you need money for post-secondary? You could receive a bursary from Canadian Blood Services if you can get 20 people to donate blood between June and the September long weekend. Most of us just need a reminder or nudge to "get around to donating". You can be that nudge and be entered to win a bursary! For details, see Student Services.

2012 Newalta Aboriginal Environmental Scholarship
In partnership with Newalta, ECO Canada will be awarding three scholarships worth $2,500 each to Aboriginal students who have demonstrated environmental leadership and entering their first year of post-secondary studies. Apply online at eco.ca/scholarships. Applications are due May 14, 2012.
Grade 12: Do you have questions about student loans?
Student loans workshop held on May 25. There will be a workshop held at Holy Cross on Fri., May 25 at noon. Students can sign up for an individual appointment and receive guidance with the application process for student loans. Sign up is in Student Services.
