Aboriginal Scholarship for Nursing -If you are a grade 12 student planning to enter a nursing program in the fall, the Dahl Nursing Education Fund Award may be just right for you. Come to Student Services or room 106 for details and eligibility. Deadline: June 15.
Gr 12 Students:
If you are going to the University of Saskatchewan in the fall, you can attend a U-Start Event which will help you:
1. Choose and register for courses
2. Understand how to use the U of S student web portal, PAWS
3. Build a great class Schedule
4. With learning about university life
Grade 12's attending the U of S:
An advisor from the U of S is coming to help select your first year classes on Wed, May 22. If you would like an appointment, there is a signup sheet on Ms. Belfour's desk. He is coming in the morning so there are only a few spots. First come first served.
Grade 11 and 12 Aboriginal Students: If you are interested in getting your First Aid/CPR Level C certification, training is now available. It will take place from 3:45-7:45pm over a four-day period. You must be available to attend May 27 & 28 and June 3 & 4 at E.D. Feehan--training takes 16 hours total, and supper will be provided. WHMIS training is available, too, on Wednesday, June 5, from 3:45 -7:45pm. A sign-up sheet for both courses is in room 106. If you have questions, please call Ian Worme, Aboriginal Achievement Facilitator, at 306-280-1714.
What do you love to do? Are you passionate about soccer? Or maybe your brain glows with scientific curiosity. Either way, if you like helping kids, there are two camps this summer where you can volunteer your time, have fun and meet people! There's also a possibility of Christian Service Hours.

Track and Field practices will be held on Monday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's at the back of the school at 12:30.
SMOKING - Smoking is ONLY
PERMITTED in the Designated Smoking Area at the back of the school,
behind the fence. Any student found
smoking on school property will have their name submitted to the Saskatoon
Police Service who will issue a Bylaw Ticket for $125.00.
A reminder to everyone that smoking is not permitted on school property.
Smoke butts are being found in the outdoor play area of the daycare. Please note that children are playing outside and should have a clean area!!!
Dress Code Reminder
The sun is finally shining and with that comes out the summer clothing. Students are reminded that appropriate clothing must be worn to school. Please take note of the way you are dressed before you come to school.
Clothing should support a positive learning atmosphere and preparation for the work place
Top wear should be appropriate and modest (not acceptable: narrow-strapped halter-tops, tube tops, tank tops, muscle-shirts or mesh shirts)
Attire that is scooped at the neck, back or arms, exposes the stomach and is revealing, is not acceptable
Shorts or skirts that are mid-thigh or longer in length are acceptable
Caps and outerwear must be placed in lockers
All clothing should be clean and neat with no undergarments showing
Students who are dressed inappropriately for school may be required to borrow clothing from the school or sent home to change.
Canoe trip will meet today.
Attention soccer players and non-soccer players
as well: Sepak Takraw season is
here. Please meet in the big Gym at
lunch today if you are interested in playing on the Sepak Takraw team. All grades welcome, boys or girls. If you are unsure just come and check out
the action. Practices will be at lunch
hour so soccer season will not be affected!!!
Last year our team won Silver at Provincials-- this year we are going for gold!!!!
