SS INFO FOR GRADE 12

STUDENT LOANS & BURSARIES

ATTENTION GRADE 12! Do you need to figure out how to finance your post-secondary education? Or pay for Apprenticeship fees?  We recommend you do the following:

Before your session, talk to your parents about financing your post-secondary education.  Explore what you will need and how you will pay for it.

Student loans (to be paid back at delayed and reduced interest) and bursaries (free money) are available to most students.  Check out your eligibility!  Look at the web site www.canlearn.ca and the links for Student Loans (Saskatchewan).  You can review your eligibility in the Handbook.

Sign-up for a one to one session with a Student Loans Officer advisor on Wednesday, May 23, here in BJM Student Services.

Complete the Student Financial Assistance Estimator on this link http://www.canlearn.ca/eng/onlinetools/index.shtml. You might be surprised at the amount of loan and bursary you might qualify for!
