Dr. Saul's Biology in Motion features fantastic interactive activities and animations for students to use to learn human biology concepts. The activities and animations seem to be targeted toward a middle school audience there is a lot of value in this website for high school students too. Biology in Motion offers some good tips for teachers planning to use these activities in the classroom. Most of the tips are things that might seem obvious, but are good reminders none-the-less.

Canvas Mol could be a great resource for chemistry and biology teachers and students. Teachers can manipulate the models to include or not include all parts of the model. Teachers could choose to not display one element of the model and challenge students to identify the molecule.

The Biology Department at Davidson College has put together a large collection of videos and animations of cell biology processes. Most of the videos are in QuickTime format while most of the animations are GIF animations. The collection is divided into five categories; Movies of Cells, Movies of Cellular Calcium, Movies of Molecular Methods, Molecular Movies, and a miscellaneous category.

Saskatchewan people will now be able to find climate change information more easily, understand climate change and learn what to do to lessen its effects.  There are many links on this site for educators, along with some Mini-Units based on the Saskatchewan's K - Grade 12 Curriculum (although these units do not reflect the recent renewal of curricula).

The Particle Adventure

The Physics Classroom Tutorial is an online physics tutorial written for high school physics students.The Tutorial covers basic physics topics using informative graphics and an easy-to-understand language. Each unit is broken up into lessons and sub-lessons. A lesson resembles the type and extent of coverage given to that physics topic in class. The sub-lessons are accompanied by Check Your Understanding sections, providing an opportunity to assess one's understanding of the lesson material. The tutorial, when combined with other resources at this site provides a student of physics a great opportunity to learn and to test their understanding.
