Change in ecosystems due to natural and human influences


In this lesson, students will identify the causes of acid rain, research ways to reduce the negative effects of acid rain, learn about government regulation and monitoring of acid rain and investigate acidity data of surface water for different areas of the United States.

Interactive about the earth's atmosphere- change the levels of carbon dioxide, oxygen, and ozone to see the effects on the earth.

Energy, and the essential role it plays in today's society, is a complex topic for elementary school children. Our theme - save energy, save nature - provides a practical introduction to the subject. It can be used to help kids understand the relationship between energy production and use and environmental problems such as smog and climate change.
