Blessings and warmest regards,
If you have been baptized in the Catholic Church and have made your First Reconciliation (Confession) and received your First Eucharist (Holy Communion), you are now ready for the next step in your faith journey. For the next few years, as the Diocese moves toward "Restoring the Order of the Sacraments", the Parish will have two celebrations for Confirmation. One will be for those children in Grade 2 who will now receive the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation at the same celebration.***The other celebration will be for those who are in grades 5,6 and older who, having already received First Communion, will now receive only the Sacrament of Confirmation. We are inviting those students in Grades 5,6 and older who wolf like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation to register with the Parish @ 382-5503 by Jan. 19th, 07. The Parish - based p[reparation for this sacrament will likely begin at the end of Jan. Further information regarding dates of the Preparation will be forthcoming.
