Lots of excitement and maybe a little fear. Soon we will be on our way to New Zealand. Start making a list of what you want or need to bring with you so you won't forget anything. Let me know if you need a ride to the airport? I think we are aiming to be there by 9:30a.m. At Oskayak I have small samples/containers of shampoo, soap and body wash if you need them..Also I have some Air Canada plastic bags to pack under 100 ml containers for your carry on bag. Do not hesitate to call me if you have any concerns or questions before the big day.. Happy packing Carys

Starting to pack/need extra clothing

  • By Carys Gilbertson
The weather will be a bit cool in New Zealand and we have suggested you dress in layers. By doing this you can adjust your clothing while on the go. Put something on or take something off.. Monday June 27th @ Value Village and Salvation Army clothing stores on Circle Drive and Faithfull Avenue they have their clothing 50% off for that day. So if you have time check it out!
You may also consider packing a jacket. It is always good to be prepared for any type of weather when traveling overseas.

Weather information, Tour package, Maori language , and of course I need to practice my Cree. Still learning how to use the new IPAD ? Hope the weather improves and everyone has a great Father's Day tomorrow!

Ottawa.....The Canadian Teachers' Federation (CTF) invites teachers and students to highlight National Aboriginal Day by signing on to Shannen's Dream, a national campaign which advocates for the provision of healthy schools and quality education for First Nations children in Canada.  http://www.fncfcs.com/shannensdream/sign-up
