SCCS Continuous Improvement Framework
As stated at the opening staff meeting we are working on a continuous improvement framework (CIF) It will work in a few different steps:
Step one: Recognize the following facts:
• No matter how good our online courses might be they can be improved.
• Not changing anything is not an option. (If we all do things the same way we will always get the same results.)
• This is the year to try something new.
• The online technology and software is changing rapidly so must our courses to reflect the current technology.
Step two: Do not reinvent the wheel
• Take the time to check out other people’s work and approaches.
• During the month of September our goal is to implement one new element into your course from your research.

Step three: Share your element.
When we started the Cyber school our strength was the sharing of our approaches. As we have gotten bigger we have lost this and we will be attempting to get this back.
• By the end of each month you will be required to share the monthly task with your peers.
• This method of sharing will be sent via email to myself and I will share it via the TADO blog. (If you are not a subscriber to the blog you should be)
• I will bug each of you to complete these tasks.
Each month I will introduce a new step in our CIP journey. There is ten tasks and at the end we will see if our stats via Cyber Tracker improve.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 45
I needed to get a better mark in my class.
I decided to do online education so I could work at my own pace.
My teacher informed me about this course and my parents and I discussed it.
Because I am travelling alot this semester and it will be easier to keep up on my own time.
I chose to do this online because i'am really good at math and i want to see how far i can go.
I decided to join online education because it is a new and unique way of learning. It offers a different type of learning that is more independant and fast. To me, it offered a challenge as far as my mathematics. I gave me a chance to show my potential in more advanced learning.

My teacher told my I was smart enough to try cyber school. I have always wanted to find ways to be smarter and I thought this would really help.
I decided on doing cyber math because I think it will help me in high school and i will be ahead in my math.

I want to make grade 9 easier than it nomaly would be.
I decided to do the online education for advanced education and so I would be able to take more classes once I were in grade 9, or continue in cyber school and move on for grade 10 math.
So I can free up my schedule so I can take more fun classes in school
I was getting bored in grade eight math so I went ahead. and now decided to Do grade 9 which i am able to do on cyber school.
Class was not offered at my school.
Because i swim competively 10 times a week and this allows me to have one less class at school so i can continue to swim and finish other homework.
I decided to do online education because I felt that I could learn better independently then I could in a classroom.

To be able to work at my own pace.
For a Challenge.
I decided to take online education because I wanted to do my Math 10. But therefore, I was switching schools in second semester from E.D Feehan High School and came to Bishop James Mahoney High School. When I talked to the principle, he said that they had no offers of Math 10 in the second semester, but I don't want to take Math 10 in gr. 11. I talked to BJM's coordinator at the school and she recommended me to take it online since I had a spare because of this situation. And so this is why I was took it.
It was good way for me to keep working and upgrad my classes so i can apply for post secondary ed.
I wanted to try something different and I had heard good things about this program
Because I have hockey everyday, afterschool, and I've really been tight for time and I'd like a class were I can work on my one pace.
I joined the online course beucause I thought it would be an awesome opportunity in life, to get ahead, and to have the time to join things in highschool that can raise my average.
So that I could work a full time job so I can make the payments that are needed

I decided to do cyberschool because I knew that it would be a good decision in the long run. I think that it is a good oppurtunity to further my math education quicker than I would in school.

I have no room to take two english classes while being in French Immersion, and some University's require both english in Alberta.
I decided to take online education because I am a very busy individual and I feel that cyber school will allow me to do my work when I want.
I am working fulltime and moving out, so I don't have time to take it in school. Cyber School was my only choice.
It's not my fault.
I prefer to learn individually and taking an online course is my responsibility. I sometimes feel that the classroom environment holds me back and this way I can utilize my time more productively.
It is more of a challenge.
Because i wasn't enrolled in a christian ethics class during school and i did not want to reschedule all of my classes so i turned to the option of cyber school.

I decided to do online school because i wanted grade nine to be easier. I would not have to do math in grade nine.
I decided I would try cyber school out, and see if it works for me.
I needed the course. This was my only option.
Computer is a big part of my life and I am always on it; might as well put it to good use.

It was the only class i gould take.
To get ahead.
Because i cant take two English 30s in one semester in class.. and because i work better alone..
I can work at my own pace and around my own schedual.
Because I need a class with flexible hours and good structure.
I decided to do this course because my teacher suggested it, and when I start high school, I will be able to work in the class ahead, so I will have the freedom to take an extra course.
I decided to do cyber school because i am an independant learner and i thought it would be a good expierience and it would be different than in the class room

I thought it would be a good choice and would work better than a regular school setting.
I decided to do online education because it would be alot more practical with my schedule, and i spend lots of time on the computer so i can therefore spend more time on my work.

Our school really didn't provide our class of Physics students with any other option. We were faced with a dilemma of an unfilled- Physics teacher position, and were kind of pushed into the direction of considering this Cyber School course. With all the information provided to us, it seemed like a Legitimate, knowledgeable, creditable option worthy of enduring. I look forward to learning at my own pace, on my own time, at my own level. Its an exciting prospect to think we are taking a giant leap into the technological era of education.
I like Math I find Math easy
I decided to participate in online education for the course of physics 30, because it was the only option available in our school.

I love articles like this...Lets try, a poor educator who teaches poorly hinders learning. A chalk and blackboard if used poorly can hinder learning and make a mess of your dark clothes. Poorly written articles can hinder one's learning when one could be reading something that makes sense. Sorry, but this article insults me.

To gain a few pre-requistie classes that I need to get a nursing degree.
I like to be able to choose when i want to work. I can work at home and not feel bored like i would be in school.
To achieve a higher overall average that I didn't get while in High School.
i thought i would do better in this course then in a classroom course
I am bilingual and this class is simply another class of mine to improve on my english skills. This class will also, hopefully give me another credit as well. I am a very organized student and can manage my time efficiently. This online course also allows me to learn and complete these following assignments, etc. following my schedule and time. It gives me an oppertunity to work more efficiently, to be more responsible and to use my time wisely so that I can complete this course.
I decided to do this becasue I didn't want to say a class room because it is so uncomfertable so I decided to do cyaber math. My teacher also suggested it to me

Because I think I am better off working on my own, and I think its a better way of learing instead of having to work at the same pace as everyine else.
You have a more flexible schedule -You can do it in the comforts of home

I needed to upgrade and did not want to go back to the high school to do so.
I wanted to take an online course, because I knew that I wasn't going to do that well in my MathA30, class. So I wanted to take in online, hoping that I'll get a better grade.
I decided to do online education becuase i know it will open alot of things up for me when i get to high school.
i decided to do online education because i can learn indenpendantly and my schoolwork was too easy.

Because i screwed up in my last cemester and i need two credits to get my gr. 12. I'm working on the rigs so i have 1 week out of three to do my course and this is perfect for that.
So I could have an extra class in grade 12.
I am a student at the U of S and I work a part time job. By taking an online course, I can do the work when it is the best time for me to do so.
Because it sounded cool and a fun way to learn also i found that class math was too slow. Math would be easier if it went faster

my teachers told me i was going into cyber school because i had finished the academy of math program and i did it the fastest out of everyone in the school and they told me it would help me to have started grade 9 math and have it done or have it well understanded by the time i hit highscholl

I didn't have room to take this course in the regular school day.
To work around my schedule
I have to many classes in one semester and I dislike the biggotry of Cristian Ethics in a classroom setting.
because i felt like my time was being wasted in the classroom, everything i learned, i learned on my own.
I dropped a class that I no longer needed and I wanted to make up for the credit I would be losing.
It was an extra credit.
To finish my grade 12 in an independant environment.
The decision of doing online was made for many reasons. The main reason was because I would like to fit time flexibly for the activities I aspire while getting the classes I need to accomplish successfully.
To me I think I will have a better understanding because its at a different pace. And in highschool its hard to focus because either the students are being disruptive or the teacher doesn't have enough time to help me.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 37
I am a very busy person and was not registered for math a30 until next semester, so i thought i would try and get it done in the first semester when my class load wasnt that heavy.
I needed Credits to graduate.
i wanted to upgrade but i also work so this is much easiar
TO graduate
I needed the course and I had no room on my schedule.
I prefer to do math online at my own pace
I needed some credits that are offered online rather than at my school. The reason these credits are so important to me is because I need them to get into university, and medical school. So i really hope to get these credits. AND most importantly i want to graduate. I waited all my life for this.
I decided that it would good to do things at my own pace, also having the course available to take at home is an addition to that.
Because it fits my schedule better than going to an actual school and I can work on it whenever i have time.
My school does not offer this course, and I would enjoy this course because it involves future aspirations of becoming a journalist, so I would like to see what I am getting into.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 36
because i neede an extra credit
I wanted to explore other options
I didnt i got put in this class
I decided that i go through this course as soon as possible as it would save me a half a year of taking this course as I am a student right now and I didn't have a night class and I thought this was my opportunity to go through with furthering my education.
Didn't like my real class in school, so i figured i'd do it on my own.
I chose to do online education because my teacher recommended it in order for me to complete grade 12.
I decided to do online education because to me i feel like i would be able to grasp the concepts easier than i have. I also wanted to see how well i can do on my own, because i know i can.
i decide to do online education so i was able to take more courses this year, so i am able to graduate.
Because I needed an extra credit to graduate and my teacher said this was an easy course to take.
I thought it would be an interesting approach to finish up my education, and I like the idea of being able to manage my time.
I have chosen to take an online cyber class because I need one more credit to graduate and this was one of the options.
Flexibility!

The grade 8 Mathematics resources are designed to be a supplemental resource for students to use, to help reinforce Math concepts. The resources are organized by strand and then by unit, with each unit placed parallel to the objectives in the curriculum, so they are easy to find and easy to use in addition to what is being taught in class.
Each unit contains a short lesson, as well as ten interactive questions to help reinforce the math objectives. Some of the features include moveable protractors, click and drag objects for studying similarity and congruency, interactive time zone questions and matching, multiple choice and calculated activities among the dynamic resources offered.
2. SCCS Communication Hubs
The learning platform used by SCCS (Web Ct) has some great built in communication tools. Using these online tools you can create communication hubs. These hubs can be used as methods of sharing information, having online asynchronous discussions as well as synchronous chats. Connect with students in other countries or even in the same city.
3. Educational Blogs (Easily updated web sites to relay information to parents, students and the community)
Cyber School is offering FREE hosting of educational blogs. If you are interested in sharing information with students, parents or community on a blog (web page format) we will host if for free. We use Movable Type as our blog system software. Blogs are easy to update. If you can type and send an email, you can update your blog.

5. Hybrid Courses
Taking the on-line courses developed by the talented cyber school teachers and using them in a face to face classroom, you have what is called a hybrid course. The courses can support or be used as the actual course in a face to face classroom. The courses designed in cyber school can be used free of charge by the teaching staff of the Saskatoon Catholic System.
Some suggested uses for cyber courses in the f2f classroom.

1. We are pleased to introduce the newest development at the Saskatoon Catholic Cyber School … SCCS Cyber Planets.
Cyber Planets are essentially Learning Communities for students in grades 2-8. Cyber Planets are housed in the secure online learning platform Web CT. Cyber Planets are web based and can be accessed with a valid username and password from any computer connected to the internet. Presently, Cyber Planets are being used by classrooms teachers as an “Online Classroom”, whereby only students in that particular classroom can log into their Cyber Planet.
The Cyber Planets also include the Elementary Technology and Mathematics resources that have been developed by Cyber School Educators.
Finally, the Cyber Planets house a multitude educational web sites and activities both specific to grade and subject area. Cyber Planets let students explore educational activities to aid in their knowledge development. They also allow communication and collaboration between classmates, between students and teachers and so forth.

New!!! A unit on Basic HTML (Web site development) has been developed. The lessons have videos and assignments leading up to the eventual development of a student web site. This unit fulfills the html component of the Grade 8 Technology Scope and sequence. Most of the other grade 8 technology objectives are fulfilled with the other technology units in the Grade 8 Cyber Planet.
· Grade 4 Online Lessons and Resources: (Suitable for grades 3-5Depending on skill level)
This course is essentially a secure online elementary school classroom. The classroom includes lessons and project to fulfill each component of the technology scope and sequence for the grade 3 and 4 levels. Beyond this, the classroom has other resources including secure e-mail, chatrooms, bulletin boards, assignment areas as well as an area to post student favorite web sites. This classroom allows teachers to monitor their student’s activities while logged into the course.

NEW!!! Are new goal for the Learning Communities is to provide educators Saskatchewan Curriculum core units. We plan on developing each core unit in each subject and in each grade. These units have been designed in house (for the most part) and are developed in Web Based, Word (modifiable) and PDF formats. The units also have ‘student only’ components that will be added to Cyber Planets upon completion. This area is under development but we do have many core units that are already complete. If you would like to share your own unit(s) to the Learning Communities please forward them to me or directly to the Cyber School Main office. We have the resources to convert the units into electronic format if need be. We will also give author credit if desired.

To graduate early
because my principal asked if thats something i would like so i said yah i'll check it out

I also work well as an independant student therefore this will be another great experience online with SCCS.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 34
I think i may need more help on my typing skills
To learn more intersrting things other than just staying in the class.
I decided to do online education because the school board decided to screw me over by switching christian ethics to french for french emmersion students. This is only an issue if your in band which I am so I'm taking an online course to make up for the class I'm losing to stay in band which is an amazing class an well worth the sacrifice.
Well, I started taking a higher level math without completing the lower level one first. So I figured I could take the lower level over the computer and still have a regular math class during school.
Because I only need to do one coarse and if I take it online I have time for other things as well.

I decided to do online eduation because it gives me a chance to work at my own pace, and it allows me to learn in a new and different style.
I am more of an independent learner for History
I needed to take a class but I didn't have any room for it. This was the only way to get the education that I would like.
I needed to take math c30 and did not have room for it in my schedual.
I started taking AP English, so I no longer had room in my schedule to take Chemistry 30 at school. I have a second period spare in the second semester, so I decided that it would be best if I took Chem 30 online.
It is a new experience for me to injoy

I would prefer not to waste 50 minutes in class taking down notes and examples, just to wait for everyone else. Also I don't believe I can take math B30 in this semester.
To have my grade twelve finished. I need two more credits to finally get my grade 12 diploma, even though I have allready done the grad ceremony. However, it should be stated that I want to get into a science program at university. To do so, i will require credits in Math B30, Math C30, Chem 20 and Chem 30. These are ina dition to the two classes (including this one) I am taking this simester. Neither of the required maths are available this semester, so I'm not taking chemistry now either. My family, chouncellor and family have disided I am going to take to relatively "easy" classes so in any case i will have my diploma by early nmext year. I may not be excellent at math and chem classes, thus if they ndon't work out and I drop them, I can still take a second option such as an art program with a major in the social sidfe of archeology or something similar.
I decided to try an online course because i wanted to try something new since i am an independent learner. i liked that the course was flexible and i am sure i have good enough work habits for a program like this.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 33
I chose to do an online education so I can get the credits I need to graduate on time.
because my school does not offer this class and i needed it for university
so that i get every credit i need to graduate in january.
I decided to do Christin Ethics 20 online because I feel like maybe I could apply myself better when I am controlling the speed of assignments. I feel that it is a great way to reserve time for other subjects, and I am looking forward to learning more about the internet as well.

I decided to do online education because I am a bit faster than everyone else, so I can work at my own pace instead of waiting for everyone to catch up.
I was in Québec for three months on a student exchange in Grade 11, and my teachers advised me not to take Math B30 until Grade 12. When Grade 12 came around, they told me that I had to take it via cyberschool so I can take Math C30 and Calculus before I graduate.
There was no math B30 offered in the first semester, and if I wanted to take math C30 I had to take B is the first semester, and online was the only choice.

Get more classes in
i need courses and i don't want to go back to highschool.
I had 11 classes I wanted to take, so I took one in cyber school.
can do it on my own time, dont have to be compared to other students or feel bad if i dont know the answer.
Because I am in band and frnch Immersion, for the second year in a row, the class(es) I wanted to take were either during a band or french class and could not be worked into my schedual or they were already full
Cyber School helped me meet the needs of my extremely hectic schedule. It allowed me to make better use of my time by working independently at a pace that my regular schooling could not match.
I learn well independantly and have a very busy life schedual.
to get the two more credits i need to graduate
I had a hard time being motivated to go to school. I found it to be a huge waste of time, as I basically sat around waiting for the bell to ring at least fifty percent of the time. All the while I was still passing with good grades. As the years went by I began to miss school as my lack of interest grew. My reason for taking online classes is so that I may learn at the accelerated pace that I desire. That and it will be easy to fit around my work schedule.
I do not have time to take this class during the day.
I work and have 2 young children so its easier to work in my own time than having to attend structured class schedules

I wanted to finish my high school becuase I am ready to go to University. This was the most flexible schooling for me.
I decided to do online education beucase I wanted to take a course that was not offered as a class this semester. This course allows me to work at my own pace, and to work on it, when its convienient for me.
I tried it in grade 8 for grade 9 math, and it was awsome... now that I am in grade 9, I have to do grade 10 math since I have already done grade 9 math.
Because I think id benefit from the fact that, i could move at my own pace.
to have a spare, and to have an oppertunity to work at my own pace.
Because I may decide to play junior hockey, and want to get a head start to complete my graduation.

I took a hybrid course for biology 30 and I felt that I was a independant worker. It will be nice to pick times when I want to work on my History30.
I need physics 30 to enter into the field of medicine at the UofS and have no time to take classes at a school. Cyber school will allow me to manage my time, and do work around my university classes.
I can go at my own pace, and it's a more comfortable environment for me to learn in than the classroom.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 31
Because I can do this so it fits in with my schedule because I'm not longer in school. I work full time and I can do this 24/7 and its the best way for me to upgrade my schooling.
I need time to do other things.
I decided to tack CE 10 so that I could have a spare in higher grade that I will problably have more homework in. Also, I wanted to see how different CE 10 was from Math90.
Easiest way for me to complete a high school class.
I thought since Cyber School is available for me, I would love to try it out and see how it works for me. I like to do things at my own pace and believe i'm a good independent learner so I decided I would give it a try.
Because I have a full time job and I need flexibility to go upgrade on my own time and at my own pace
I only need to take 2 classes this year, and I didn't feel like driving to a school everyday for only 2 classes.
i decided to do online education because it works well for me given my current situation.
since i am upgrading and taking a year off to work, i thought that cyber school would work out perfectly with my schedule

I decided to do online education because I have seen friends attend school after graduation to upgrade and take classes they have not taken before and they did not like it at all because the students were rude to them about it and they had a hard time working around their jobs with school. They would miss classes often because of their job. I think that cyber school is a more efficient way to learn for people who have already left school, work or have children and that is why I chose to learn this way.
Because with my schedule it seemed to work well.
There wasn't enough people signed up for the class at school and I really wanted to do it.
I work better as an independent student
I found I would get more cedits and also gives me something to do after school. Also, while I am talking to my friends online on MSN I can also do something useful with my time.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 30
To have the freedom of working independently. Experience a new kind learning.
I am a fast learner, and I do well learning independantly.
Try out a new way of learning. History inparticular I am a more independant worker when learning the content.
So I could take more than 10 classes
With cyber school, I can do my schoolwork from the comforts of home whenever I want to. As a result, my schooling can become more flexible with my schedule.
It was the only journalism course I could take.
I decided to take this course so I would have more time for other subjects this year and in my high school years to come
Do work at my own pace and because I did it last year.
I decided to do online education because student services messed up my scheduling and gave me the choice of dropping AP, Band, or taking an online course. So naturally, I took an online course.
It is the most convienent way to do this course right now.
So I could fit in all the classes I want to take.
It's the only way to take this class.
I chose to do an online course because of other scheduling conflicts in school and cyber school seemed like a good alternate option
Because as it was, my schedual wouldn't let me take all the classes that I wanted to and this helped and also because I like having a spare and then being able to work on this anytime.
i wanted to upgrade my maths(a 30 and b 30) because i didn't do well on the finals. not enough preperation was done and sports got in the way. ive done cyber school before and seemed to do better online then in a classroom.

Online education was very appealing to me for several reasons. I am a fast learner when it comes to certain subject matter and I appreciate the opportunity to work at my own pace. The flexible hours are ideal for my style of learning and allow me to balance school with my job and extracurricular activities. I enjoy the one-on-one interaction with my teachers and the quiet atmosphere in which I can learn. Several of my classes were cancelled at school this year and I was delighted to know that I could take them online.

Because I am moving away, and I will be attending a public school, and I will need my Christian ethics and Info Pro 20.
Because I thought I was more of an independent learner.

To complete grade 12
I didn't have enough room in my regular schedule plus I like that I can work at my own speed.
Cause I have trouble learning with a class of screaming kids.
Because I needed to do more then 10 courses in the upcoming school year, so when I heard about cyber school I decieded to try it out.
I wanted to get my grade nine math done before high school so I could take other courses and advane in math/sciences.
In class instruction goes to slow for me, with this I can go at my own pace.
I feel I will be able to work more efficiently on my own then with people around me.
I am going to be out of town and use cyber school for more flexibility.

I want to take 11 classes this year, and can only do 10 in school, so I need to take one online.

I decided to take a cyber school course because It was a way for me to work at my own pace and become more independant.
I really felt I would benefit from taking this course, and I had already chosen my 10 classes in school, so I figured it would be good to take Cyber School.
When I first chose to do it, it was because I wanted to do 11 classes. Now I need to do it this way because of how band works and I'm in A.P (advanced placement) English so my options were very limited. Plus I liked doing cyberschool.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 26
was having trouble deciding which school i wanted to go to, and i didnt want to go back to highschool. I am also working, so this works out perfect for me.
I did not have time to take Physics in school.

I decided to take the online course because i wanted to get as many credits as i can by grade 12

I wanted to be able to take Industrial Arts along with Arts 20 (have completed Arts 10) without having to drop band.
I decided on an online education to challenge myself. I also liked the idea of flexible times.
I really wanted to take the Creative Writing course, but because of a lack of space in my timetable, I was unable to take it in a classroom. A guidance councellor suggested taking it on cyber school, and I thought it was a great idea.
I thought independent learning would be good for me.
i have decided to take this course becasue i am a figure skater and my skating time is when school is on so instead i can do work at night and not in the afternoon. Thsi makes life easier and less stressful for me.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 25
I decided to do online education because I want to become a veterinary surgeon, and I am in french immersion and band, so I didn't have enough space in my schedual for all my classes.
I wanted to take info processing and since I'm going to be in grade 11 I didn't want to take a grade 10 class at school. I also had 10 other classes picked, and wanted to take this one in case I need it in the future.
Because i wanted to get the credit infor processing and i did't want to take the class with younger students
I decided to do online education because I thought it would be a fun way to get an extra credit. I am on the computer a lot and thought an extra credit would be nice.
It was a course that i was interested in.
I didn't have enough room in my timetable to take all of the in-class courses that wanted. So I turned to cyber school
I decided to do a online education so i can go at my own pace, and not feel so much pressure from all the classes I have. I can put more effort and it is a chance to learn lessons on time management and computer skills

Because i took a spare in first and my parents said taking this course for my future would be a good idea
I can do it at my own pace.
I decided to do online education because I heard good things about it, I really enjoy computers and it was my only other option other than waiting until next year and taking it in a classroom.
Because I wanted to take a course that I wouldn't have time for at school, and also, I much prefer to online learning environment to an actual classroom environment.
I decided to do online eduction because it helps me manage my time and gives me options to pick other classes in school.

Medical Reasons
I decided to take calculus online because it is the only credit that I still need. This way, I can still work and save money for university without worrying about attending scheduled classes. I chose SCCS because the calculus teacher at my school said that their course is better than the one offered by the Sask Ed Correspondence School!
I didn't like the teacher or the people in the class I was in at school, so I decided to give this a try.

I thought it would be a better way for me to do school work.Since i am a single parent.And it is alot easier.

My sister tells me that it really helps her free her time up anD i myself find myself busy with all thats going on right now and it makes things easier, Plus..... i like computers

I need to retake my physics 30 course to upgrade my mark, a minimum of 70% is required for the U of S engineering courses, and I wish to get alot higher than what I received.
so i could be cought up with my classes and hope to graduet on time
To try something new.
I wanted to take Creative Writting, but my school told me I wouldn't be able too. So, I had 2 spares and decided to take up a class to get my full credits and have something worth while to do during my free periods.
I did not finish my grade 12 education, so i visited the guidance counciler at school and he referenced me to here.
I decided to do online education because I haven't been in school for over half a year and I might be behind in work.

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 20
I failed math10 course and there isn't another math10 course till grade 11, so it thought i would give it a try doing it online.
it was either this or wellness with a teacher i don't like
to do online education because of my tight work shedule and to finish my grade 12 so i can move on to film school in Toronto.
I wanted to retake physics and I already have classes in school and I have done cyber school before and really liked it so i decided to sign up again
I wanted a challenge and I thought it might be interesting.
I decided to use Cyber School because I could graduate this year with out having to take more classes during the school day. I can work according to the hours I AM available.
i can learn at my own pace
I decided to do online education about maybe 2 or 3 months now. i have just been talking to friends and asking people if they know what it is.
Taking a cyber school class is an excelent way to boost my average. It's convient so that I can do the coarse at any time.
Our school doesn't teach this course, and this was my only option to recieve credit. I just recently graduated in 2005.

Hmm.. well i Didnt really like the school enviroment and all the pressure that was included, so i decided to take a couple of online classes through the cyber school program.
I need to upgrade my chemisty 30 mark for entrance into nursing.
Because i think it will be easier for me to do it.it also gives me better times because now i can do it whenever i want to.
I thought it would be a more flexible way of earning a credit.
I decided to do online education so when i am in grade twelve i will be able to have a spare.
To see if it would be easier than in the classroom or at least so that I could move at my own pace.
because to be able to become an electrian you need Math so i decided to take it online

Why did you decide to take cyber school? Part 19
because i used the hybrid classes and they helped out quite a bit, so i thoguht that it would be almost the same as taking an online class.
i have free time on my computer.
I was physically unable to attend school due to illness. With cyber school, I can work at my own pace without worrying about falling behind and being kicked from a class when I'm ill.
I decided to do online math because I was bored to death doing normal grade 8 math!!!
My principal suggested that it would be a good idea for me to try this course out.
I took Christian Ethics 10 last semester and I really enjoyed it. I also wanted a little bit more flexibility in when I could do the work.
i'm sick alot of the time, so being able to do school at home helps me to not worry about attendance. I am an independant learner and can learn well at my own pace.
I need to raise my marks to get into University.
I decidced to do online education because I like to so things on my own and I think it will be a good expereience.
So that i would be able to upgrade my mark in math without having to take it in the classroom again

Because a math A 30 course wasn't avaiable at my school in second semester and I wanted to upgrade
I decided to do an online course because the math course is not available in school at this time so that's why i want to do an online course.
My brother and parents encouraged me to do this to have more opportunity when I'm in Grade 12 to take another subject. It may help me in finding a better career than most.

i wanted to take class online so that i can work around my schedual
I decided to take cyberschool because, I need to graduate. I am one credit short and I will not be allowed to graduate, so I really need this course to complete my grade 12 education.
I chose online education because of the flexibility of completion of the course.
My school ODP does not offer any sciences other than modified.
because i wanted to try something new! because im allways up for new things . . and it is also a coarse that i can do on my own time n i can fit it in my busy life

I decided on an online education because in order to get into the math class I wanted to be in with the teacher I wanted to be with, I couldnt take christian ethics in class, so I came here!
i didn't do well in my classes so i decided to take cyber school to get my grades up
I need these classes for the program in university i wish to persue.
I can be flexible and can do math on my own time.

Because I wanted to work at my own pace, and be able to read and re-read content using my computer. I believe that I will learn a lot more effectively this way. I feel that if I do Math A30 online, I would be a lot more successful than if I were to do it at the school, where the teachers go faster than I like to keep up with.

I decided to take an online course because I wanted to be challenged and I wanted to try something new.
I decided to participate in online education because i failed Math A30 and the only way for me to take it next semester without droping another class is to do it online
to try something new
I decided to do online education because it gave me an opportunity to excel in a subject that I would take later on. I also thought that it would present a challenge to me.
I believe that I will make more progress learning on an independant level.
I thought it would be an awesome experience and I work well as an individual.
My teacher suggested it as I travel a lot with my sports.
I want to do online education because it is way more convenient because you could just go on a computer.
I needed physics 30 for a prerequisite to what I want to take in university and I had no room for it in my schedual.
It is a good opportunity and I like working at my own pace.
I had a spare and I wanted to do somthing so i would get board. So i decided to try something new, it was an easy credit too.
I didn't want to go to school but I needed to upgrade one of my classes.
I wanted to take Information Processing 20, but it didn't fit with my schedule at school. Taking the course online allows me to have a more flexible schedule, which works better for me.
I need to take a course that is not been offered at my school during the second semester.
i needed to start working full-time, and this makes more sense then just going to school for one hour.
I liked the flexibility of schedule.
I decided to do online education because i wanted to try something new and I was bored to death with my regular Grade 8 math course.
I am not very good at history, so I want to try it online
to earn credits without being in the school environment for a whole day and feeling lots of pressure from other students at school
Why I decided to do the online education was because I had a full semester and I really needed Christian Ethics 30 soo I decided to try this out and see how well I do and im aiming for a 75-80%
I thought it was a good way to learn, I spend a lot of my time on the computer and I thought that learning over the internet could be a good and fun way to do so.
