Jet Streams, barometers, radar dopler; how meteorologists predict weather can be difficult to explain. Teaching through technology creates a stimulating and exciting learning environment for students. Looking up fact and answering questions is only a mouse click away!
Overview
This project is a technology infused grade 4 science unit about predicting weather. The project integrates science, L.A., art & technology. Students will learn about various aspects of the weather and then develop their own blogs to explore weather around the world. Finally, the students will create their own web weather forecast to predict and measure weather in a particular city from around the world.
